Our promo video was submitted to the NYIFVF and we were accepted under the “comedy” catagorie. It was a blast seeing ourselves on the Big Screen. Thank you Jim! And Ben!

The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival (NYIIFVF) is one of the largest independent film festivals in the world.
The New York International Independent Film and Video Festival was founded in 1993. NYIIFVF has been recognized by the film and entertainment industry as one of the leading film events on the independent festival circuit. The festival hosts film, music and art events in the two entertainment capitals of the United States: New York and Los Angeles.

Past NYIIFVF festivals have included the work of Abel Ferrara, Andy Garcia, Calista Flockhart, Selma Blair, Ewan McGregor, Dominique Swain, Busy Phillips, Cameron Diaz, Christopher Walken, Daryl Hannah, Eva Herzigova, Guy Pearce, George Clooney, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Modine, Rod Steiger, Tippi Hedren, Tony Danza, Willem Dafoe and Executive Producer Vin Diesel.

Headlining the Suncoast

Terry Jenkins is the entertainment director, he books acts for the showroom at the Suncoast, 9090 Alta Drive. Some acts must use blue language. Jenkins said he would never book such an act for the Summerlin venue, with its retirement-dominated audience.”We keep away from that at the Suncoast,” he said. “People are turned off by the f-bomb.” Some shows at the Suncoast,pulled tourists from the Strip and residents from Henderson.The way the property keeps track, exact numbers could not be pinned down by demographics. However, the Suncoast did record 45 percent of the draw were from “hard tickets,” meaning people walk up to the window of the box office to buy tickets. 

To mix things up, the Suncoast doesn’t just book singers. Lately, Jenkins said, play-like shows have been strong draws. Those include “Say Good Night Gracie,” “Ethel Merman’s Broadway,” and “Night of a Thousand Guidos.”
